Bioeconomy and Industry in Countries along Belt and Road was compiled by CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Biotechnology(CoEBio) in the collaboration with Shanghai Life Sciences Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The report selected 70 representative countries along the Belt and Road, their basic research, patent research and development, and import and export trade in three biotechnology fields in recent five years have been studied, including pharmaceutical biotechnology, industrial biotechnology and agricultural biotechnology. And the international cooperation of these countries in basic research and patented technology are analyzed and discussed in details. Meanwhile, new development proposals and strategies for further cooperation and win-win cooperation in the field of biotechnology between China and other "Belt and Road" countries are put forward.
